- ♥ Grandma's 80th Celebration.

My mum hosted a 2 all-women event as a celebration for my grandma's 80th Celebration.

One of them was 2 Fridays ago, it was Tea.

The food was really goooood. Aaron, (my mum's friend's son)(an exception of female, haha), my brother(another exception), ate like A FEW plats of Carbonara. It was really delicious!! Mmmm. Plus, there was several plates of assorted pizzas, lamb kebabs, other yummy food, and freeflow of fruit punch + iced lemon tea + coffee/tea!! :D

Oo-la-la.

I said grace(thanking God for the food in prayer) before that : ) As usual, I was rushing too fast. Looking back, I will learn now to calm myself, and pray slowly. Heh.

Catching up with Aaron, my church friend since primary, was deeply nice too. Made me realize that friendships has really to be treasured : ) How much we've changed. The sweetest thing that touched my heart is how much he's grown in his faith! Ye-ah.

Yesterday, it was Dinner. Each group of my grandma's "party" is held with a different group of my mum+grandma's friends.

Yesterday was, just, sooooo AWESOME.

It was with a CRAZY, haha, like seriously, bunch of women!! The worst part was they all came in different timing. And I had to crack my head everytime they go "Oh, Claire it's you!! You've grown so much!!", "Wow, Claire?".... and my head tries to Google search real quick for a string of memory of their Names. Haha. Because the last time most of them saw me was when I was still a baby, or a young girl :) I'm 16+ now. Hee.

Oh and when 2 of them asked whether I remembered them I said "No!", then they said, "But I remembered you!", and then I said, "Well you all have changed! Even prettier now!", hahahahaha and they said I "sek gong wa" [means know how to talk in Cantonese]. Hahahaha.

They were just awesome. Really. I had to talk to almost every one of them, helping my mum and grandma entertain. Well, you see, it's my first time talking to about more than 10 grown women from different backgrounds, races, religions in 1 night. Haha.

There was this women. She was so INSPIRING. She had a broken marriage due to unfaithfulness of her previous husband. Oh but now she's found a very good husband, my mum said. The way she looked(really beautiful), talked, the way she dressed, her arms were well toned(haha), and even at a time I was like the "small girl" listening to her conversation with another women, the way she really Loves what she's doing. In business, travelling all around the world. It was amazing. And she said several things that really inspired me. "To empower lives", "I don't try to sell to people, I add values", "I had alot of broken-ness in my life, and I think what really pulled me through was God",  Wo-ah, amazing!! And she asked me of my ambitions. I showed her my little notebook that wrote about 10 of them, (haha), and she was like "Wow!! I would like you to meet my daughter one day to motivate her,"... in my heart I was shyly blushing away. Haha.

Oh she's only one of them. All the others also! They asked me like what am I going to do in the future, what course to take, what stream am I in now. And one asked "Are you dating, or seeing anyone?", and I was like "Isn't that the same?" She was like "No...." And then she explained dadada. And it was hilarious. And we went on talking about other stuffs. Back to her childhood, where she used to go for Add Math tuition because there's guys, apparently because she's from a girls school! Haha.

Super funny night. And my best friend's mum was there too : ) She couldn't make it. But her mum was there! And oh, her mum is another one really really awesome too. I tell you, unexplainable. Caring, lovely. AWESOME.

Everyone of them. My eyes really opened to the maximum yesterday!! Yeah ! And 2 more lovely sweet incidents that made my night besides all the FUNNY AWESOME WOMEN :D

1. My mum gave away Table-Runners as door gifts. There was this really funny chef, he asked my mum how much does it cost, and is there anymore. My mum said no because she didn't know. Oh but I said yes! There's one last one!! I took it, I gave him. He was so happy, and said "THANK YOU!! IT'S FOR MY WIFE!", awwww, I was super touched by his love towards his wife :')

2. There was this waitress, pretty and petite, we stayed up till the shop was closed yet the crazy awesome womens were still sitting outside chatting away. It was about 12 am when I saw her there on another chair with her phone. Then I saw her walking away. I saw her boyfriend, on a motorcycle picking her up from work. He came down, gave her a helmet, she wore it. She sat behind him, hands around his waist, and they You know you usually see that in movies, but seeing it in real life is different, it was really really sweet :')
